Luc sensed the thrill of desire that rippled through Belinda as she watched their reflection in the side mirror. He lifted her slightly and eased her panties away from her, stepping away from the vee of her legs only long enough to discard the scrap of lace before he settled between her legs again. He was impossibly hard and he needed to be inside her—soon, very soon. She’d become as necessary to him as every breath he took. Necessary in a way that surpassed physical need. He shifted his weight to his good leg, ignoring the nagging pain he’d borne for the better part of the morning—no doubt a result of yesterday’s activities. But it had been worth every second of it, as would this time and every time hereafter. He pulled Belinda forward and she gasped as her backside slid along the cold marble.

He bent his head to the side of her neck, kissing, sucking and gently biting his way down to the curve of her shoulders.

He nestled his hips between her thighs, his erection probing at the hot, honeyed moisture at her entrance. He slid his hands up her arms, to the tiny cap sleeves of her dress and thanked the designer whose deep vee-cut neck and backline had decreed wearing a bra with this dress nigh on impossible. He slid the sleeves of her dress down, trapping her elbows at her sides and exposing the lush fullness of her breasts. The deep rose crests were tight buds, and he drew first one then the other into his mouth. Her shuddering sigh of pleasure was almost his undoing and he lifted her skirt higher, exposing her hips and the curve of her thighs to their view.

Slowly he pushed inside her, fighting the urge to sink himself in her as hard and fast as he could. He watched her expression, saw her eyes glaze and colour spread across her throat and chest. She’d wedged her hands on either side of her hips to keep her balance, using what leverage she had to flex against him, driving him in deeper. She moaned in response, and, now helpless to control his movements, he gave in to the rhythm his body demanded, his hips pumping hard and fast until her cries filled the room and her inner muscles spasmed around him. Pleasure surged through his body in response and he buried his face in her neck, muffling his shout of triumph as his climax ripped through his body and left him trembling against her.

“Now do you believe me?” he growled against her skin. “There is only you in my life. Now and forever.”

“Forever,” she whispered.

The word bounced softly off the marble of the room, almost as if it was captive, but Belinda remained deaf to its significance.
